Thankful for so many things

It's hard to even know where to begin. I'm thankful for the small things I take for granted too often, such as a roof over my head and plenty of food to eat. I'm thankful that I don't have to live in fear and that I live in this great country. I'm thankful for all 5 of my children and a loving husband. I'm thankful that Laura is willing to put up with our chaos and all the help that she gives me each day. I'm so thankful for my family's good health and realize that is a luxury many people don't enjoy. I'm thankful for Dax's good job and the health insurance it provides our family (see later post) and for modern medicine that I know has been inspired by our Heavenly Father.

I'm eternally thankful to know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me and knows what's best for me even when I don't. I'm thankful for the Atonement and my knowledge of our eternal plan. So many days I lean heavily on the eternal perspective I have for comfort and peace. I'm thankful for prayer, that I can talk with my Heavenly Father at any moment and I know he is really listening. I'm thankful for all the temples upon the Earth and especially that we will have one 10miles from our house in a few years.

I am thankful for Mom and Dad! I don't know how you guys did it and made it look so easy with 6 kids. I gain a new appreciation for both of you every waking day. I love my sisters even the ones that stole my height. I'm thankful for their friendship, their love and their laughter. I know it's only been since January but it's been too long since we have all been together. I'm thankful that Mom and Dad were sealed in the temple so we can all be together forever. What a blessing. I love all of you and thank you for all that you are!
