So I finally have something to post for the blog! I've been in Utah for the last 3 1/2 years and not once have I been up to the Sundance Film Festival so this year I decided to change that. I went up today with my roommate and we had a lot of fun. Neither one of us had ever been before so it was quite the experience. We really didn't know where we were going but we found our way eventually. It was really cool to see all the people walking around and know that there were famous people all around us. I didn't really expect to see anyone because I really had no idea where to look but we got lucky. As we were walking down the street we see this paparazzi guy pointing out someone famous to a girl and so I decided to stop and just take pictures in the general direction they were facing. I had no idea who I was looking for or anything I just figured I could find out later. Lucky for me though I overheard who I was looking at and I was super excited. Right across the street was a film crew and getting ready to be interviewed was Kristen Stewart!
For those who don't know she is the star of Twilight! So awesome! Turns out we saw the whole cast of her Sundance movie Adventureland. And it doesn't end there. We hung outside a theater where a crowd was starting to form and we got to see Peter Gallagher, Laura San Giacomo, from Just Shoot Me, and Andie MacDowell. All in all I'd say it was a pretty successful run for our first time at the festival. Talk to you guys soon. Love you all.
