Happy Birthday Dad!
From Grandma Hurst's History
It was 27 January 1949 on a cold stormy night we drove over to the hospital in Monticello where I gave birth to my eleventh child. This one was another boy. We named him Sidney.
The following was taken from the editorial of the Deseret News: We Agree Its A Lucky Boy. Dear Editor, Each day the papers tell of babies born to Mr. and Mrs. So and So. Queens and society women have one baby and a big to do is made. But recently in Blanding a very lucky baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Delores Hurst. He is lucky because he already has ten brothers and sisters to welcome him. Lucky because he has a father and mother who say its no one's business how many kids they have. Lucky because those children's welfare come first above all else. Because he shall be raised in the finest community in the world and above all, where he shall be taught as he should be. Mrs. Hurst says her only regret is that he wasn't twins and meant it.
Happy Birthday to the lucky boy that grew to be the father to six very lucky girls!
We love you dad!

Thanks for posting this Desi. I hadn't seen/read that before. Happy Birthday Dad!
