School Daze!

We have survived the first two weeks of school. It has been a haze of school supplies, forms to fill out (4 copies of the same exact info. Why is it they make you fill it out 4 times and can't just update all of the kids info off of 1 form? Why, I ask you?!), homework, and yes, even a few tears. And yes, some of them were mine on the first day of school. Dropping your baby off at kindergarten is never an easy task.
Can you believe this kid is in 7th grade? Know how you can tell? It's the ,"Really Mom?! You're going to make me pose for a picture?! Aren't I too old for this?!" look he's giving me! Totally pre-teen!
This one on the other hand... this is pure excitement to get out the door and back to school. Those two weeks of break were way too much for him. He needs the school bus and the classroom and the school lunches! Ahhh the lunches! Probably his favorite part of school!
No, Preston is not displaying any anti-war sentiments in this picture. He thought it was very important for future generations to be able to look at this picture and know, without a doubt, that he was in 2nd grade. I have the feeling we will be seeing a lot of peace signs in the coming year!
Since there isn't a finger to represent Kindergarten, we settled on a #1 for first year of school. I think we have only had 2 days that she hasn't worn a skirt to school. Remind anyone of someone else?

Okay, people! You didn't really think I was going to miss a chance to nag did you? Post your pictures! I want to see all the other cute kiddos in their first day excitement!
