Brendan had a great 10th birthday. He got all of his favorite things!
Cake, which falls into his all time favorite category...Food!
We couldn't get him to stop taking the M&M's off.
Slinky in dog form... his favorite gift!
Books, especially noisy books!
And of course, stickers. He had to have one on each finger!
The funny thing about giving Brendan over 1000 stickers is wondering where you will find one next. He takes them off and leaves them everywhere, like on the couch. Then you sit on them without realizing it and Ta Da! Decorated bottom courtesy of Brendan! What's really fun is when you find a sticker on your bum at the end of a really busy day and then spend the rest of the night wondering how many people saw you with jungle animals stuck to your bottom that day! This is all hypothetical of course. It's never really happened to me. Certainly not over and over again!
How nice would it be if we were all so happy with something as simple as a book of stickers!
Love the cake! Sorry we didn't call. I'm terrible at that. We hope Brendan's day was great. I bet he really likes that slinky dog!
