is why we walk!
Sweet, sweet Brendan.
We love him so much and are so glad he is part of our family. He fills our lives with smiles, hugs, laughter, funny stories and occasionally tears. Autism is a daily challenge for our family, but Brendan is a daily joy!
We attended the 1st Annual Grant a Gift Autism Walk today.
It was a wonderful experience.
It was great for our kids to see that it is not just our family that faces a life with autism.
It was even better to see all of the community that came together to support us.
Ashtyn and Preston found a very talented balloon artist before the walk.

A BIG thanks to Mom who came along and walked with Brendan until he wouldn't walk any further and then sat with him, patiently waiting for the rest of us to finish!
In addition to supporting a wonderful cause, we won an awesome raffle prize!

April is Autism Awareness Month. See if you can find an event in your area. I promise you, it will be a very worthwhile experience for your family.
Looks like a wonderful day and a great event. I really, really, really wish we could have all been there to participate with you. We will definitely have to look for a walk in our area.
