So Eliza's primary teacher called me today to tell me about their discussion in class yesterday. They were talking about getting baptized and things members of the church are not supposed to do. They got to the word of wisdom and someone mentioned you have to give up tobacco.
Eliza: "You have to give up tobacco?!!!!"
Teacher: "Yes."
Eliza: "But I love tobacco!!!"
Puzzled looks from the entire class, especially the teacher.
Teacher: "You've tried tobacco?"
Eliza: "Yeah, my mom uses it all the time."
More puzzled looks.
Eliza: "I love tobacco. I love spicy stuff."
Teacher: "Do you mean Tabasco?"
Eliza: "Yeah, tobacco."
Mystery solved! I'm just glad we were in Vegas the Sunday before so the Stake Primary leaders weren't there for this discussion.
