I came home from an evening at Mom and Dad's house and immediately this sad little lonely rat-like creature started squeaking at me. It was truly pathetic! I rushed into the kitchen and started washing some fresh romaine lettuce leaves. (Side note: I realize that the previous statement says quite a lot about my relationship with the before mentioned rat-like creature. In my defense, how many of you have had someone so glad to see you today that they actually squeaked with glee? Anyone? That's what I thought. Please continue.) With fresh lettuce in hand, I walked over to the still squeaking creature and shoved the lettuce partially through the bars of the cage. I never shove them all the way through because it is really cute to watch "the rat" try to pull the lettuce through the bars as he's eating. I then returned to the kitchen to start getting Brendan's medicine. While I was preparing the medicine, I started hearing the happy crunching of lettuce. But this crunching seemed louder than normal. Not only louder, but it was wandering closer and closer to the kitchen where I was. I looked up and there he was....Brendan......crunching away........very happily........ ON LUNAR'S LETTUCE!!!!! The lettuce that I had already seen Lunar nibbling on.
Anyone know where I can get a very tiny t-shirt?
